Off day

Don’t know yet about the teaching program. But that’s partly because I needed to finish the Masters in Teaching portion of the application (which included an additional essay about my teaching goals and beliefs).

Getting the application worked out was delayed because the initial screening for the MIT program took place the day I got the stomach flu, and I took a week to get over that. Then it took another week to get the application sent to me.

Anyway, I finished working on the application two days ago, and the essay yesterday.

To get these items turned in more quickly, I intended to have a pdf file of the application made and then attach it and the essay to an email.

But, like, I went downtown to get the scan done and the copy place was closed. But...ha ha, I had prepared an envelope to snail-mail it out in case the place was closed. However the envelope wouldn’t seal shut. (>_<)

So, almost a wasted a trip. But on the way back home, I thought to ask a shop owner if he could loan me scotch tape. So, yeah. I taped the envelope shut and mailed it off in time for the last pick-up. Then I emailed the essay.

*whew*

Well, that done, I still have the biology test and GRE pending. The bio test I’m taking the end of this month and I’m trying to schedule the GRE for early or mid-May. I want to get it finished soon since the internship starts in June, but I also want to make sure I have time to study for it.

So, anyway, a tedious two weeks, but I got the wheels turning again.

More later...or soon.
